Paul and Patty Gamsby - Married for almost 40 years and owning their own businesses since 1982, Paul and Patty Gamsby have enjoyed every minute of it. "It can be tough working with a spouse and it takes a special mindset to get through some issues but in the end it is all worth it” says Patty. After they both worked in the banking industry, Patty became a stay at home mom and Paul started his career as an arena manager from 1978-82. In the years that followed they started their first business, a family fun park with a skating rink, mini golf and water slide. While also pursuing other interests, they continued ownership for almost 20 years; a business that is alive and well today in Binghamton, NY. During that time, they developed a marketing network and had over 500 roller skating centers as clients for 10 years.

From 1998 to 2005 Paul returned to the hockey world he left behind at the University of Michigan, where he played hockey and received his bachelor’s degree, and became general manager of the Augusta Lynx Hockey team of the ECHL. He also served in that same capacity in Richmond, VA.

Paul and Patty were introduced to More Space Place in 2005 and immediately thought it would be a perfect fit for them at this time in their life. "Living at the beach year round is an attraction that is hard to beat" says Paul. They find owning a More Space Place franchise is rewarding, challenging but most of all fun! Working in a relaxed and comfortable setting is like being at home. They look forward to many years of being part of the More Space Place family. Paul and Patty have three grown sons, Sean(see below), Brian and Clinton. At home and at work with them everyday is their Tibetan Terrier, Misty, who rests comfortably on her own Dog Murphy Bed. They reside in Crow Creek in Calabash, NC.

In January 2009, they opened their second franchise in Wilmington, NC.

Sean Gamsby and Marianne Shelton - Sean left New York in 1995 to join the US Navy where he served on the USS The Sullivans for four years as a Radio Man 3rd Class Petty Officer. Sean then became a government contractor working in Charleston, SC before he found his calling in the woodworking business. He has worked in the construction and woodworking field for over 10 years before moving to the beach with Marianne to open this More Space Place franchise with his parents. Sean works as a Manager for the Sales and Installation teams, quality control and with customer designs.

Marianne is from Colorado Springs, CO; she attended University of Wyoming and graduated with a bachelors' in Architectural Engineering. In Colorado she worked for an architectural woodworking company as an engineer and project manager for home owners and corporations around the world. After 5 years, her work took her to Columbia, SC where she continued her career in woodworking. Marianne moved to Myrtle Beach in 2005 with Sean where she works as the designer for More Space Place. "I am very grateful for the opportunity the Gamsby's have given to me as it combines my engineering experience and passion for design." Sean and Marianne are joined everyday at work by Jake their Tibetan Terrier, who relaxes on his own Pet Murphy Bed.

Phillip Bradley - Phil is from Columbia, SC, married with three children. He has been working in many different areas of woodworking for over 10 years. Phil has built custom doors and windows as well as worked in the architectural woodworking industry. "I came to Myrtle Beach four years ago to work for the Gamsby's at More Space Place and what a wonderful decision that has been."
